hello everyone!!! tis thread is one where we can exchange n learn more abt pool…the main focus here is how mucnh do we noe their history??? so to start off…
1) ian rush holds the record for most number of goals scored in FA cup final. how many did he score?
2) who is the all-time leading goalscorer(both league n cup) for liverpool n how many did he score?
3) pool has done the league n cup double onli once in its entire history. which yr was tat?

ian rush scored 5 goals in the FA cup finals..
i know roger hunt is the all time scorer for the league but rush is overall top scorer ? correct me if i'm wrong..
no idea on the league and cup double but im gussing in the 80s ? during Paisley's era ?

if its the FA cup one, liverpool won in 1986
1982, 1983 and 1984 are for League and League Cup doubles.
1977 and 1984 for League and European doubles

3) it was in 1986…pool onli did the league n FA cup double once in historyok…as requested, here r more qns…

the answers to the above qns…
1) many may have tot tat it was kenny dalglish who lifted tat trophy but the correct answer is actually joe fagan.
2) ian rush scored a total of 42 FA cup goals, surpassing the previous mark set by dennis law of 41.
3) pool beat sunderland in tat cup final n the scorers were dean saunders n michael thomas.so there u have the answers to the qns…do try to keep tis thread alive by posting ur own qns…i will post some more soon…

hello guys!!! i am back wif more liverpool trivial…
1) robbie fowler scored the fastest hattrick in pool’s history. which team did he score tat hattrick against?
2) when pool lost the league title on the last day of the 88/89 season, arsenal beat them 2-0. who scored the 1st arsenal goal in tat game?
3) in the charity shield the following season, pool beat arsenal 1-0. who was the scorer of tat goal?

oh well, seems like nobody is interested in tis thread anymore…anyway, answers to the qns above…
